April 28, 2011 - The 22nd Annual Vaughan Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards Gala, sponsored by TD Commercial Banking, was an incredible evening enjoyed by a who's who in the business, political, and media community on April 28th. Held this year at The Venetian Banquet Hall, representatives from a variety of industries were honoured throughout the evening as MC John Tory and the VCC handed out hardware to those who achieved organizational excellence in 2010.

Simmons, 61, addressed a crowd at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto Tuesday during the Institute of Communication Agencies'
annual Advertising Week.
During his presentation, audience members got a look at what makes the KISS brand so successful. The self-proclaimed "God Of Thunder" has
flexed his marketing muscle to align the KISS name with big brands like Nike, Visa, Nestle, the Holiday Inn and the Indy race series.
Gene is a licensing and merchandising mastermind, with over 2,500 licenses worldwide. He is the star of the longest running reality show on
television, Gene Simmons Family Jewels as well as a Co-Founding Partner in Cool Springs Life Equity Strategy which provides estate planning
for high net worth individuals.

Oct 15th, 2010 - Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the launch of a new business innovation program in Ontario, at Solgate's facilities.

"I was delighted to be on hand with Prime Minister Stephen Harper to launch Investing in Business Innovation, the latest in a
series of new funding initiatives FedDev Ontario will deliver to build a Southern Ontario Advantage" says Ross Marin.
This program will accelerate the commercialization of new products, processes and practices by encouraging greater collaboration
between start-up businesses and angel and venture capital investors. It will leverage greater private sector investment in
start-ups and will also help angel investor networks, and organizations that represent them, to attract new investors.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper was at Solgate Solar PV Manufacturing in Vaughan to make this special announcement. Over the last
four weeks, the Marin Media Group completely re-branded Sogate including a new logo and a new website.

Hospital Foundation, achieve their vision to "conquer cancer in our lifetime".
Darryl Sittler spoke about his wife's battle with colon cancer. He captivated the entire audience with his remarkable story. Sittler memorabilia
was available at the event and the proceeds went to support Retro Gala.

Henderson revealed to the audience that he is battling cancer and that he was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. "I have no angst in
my body, no fear whatsoever," Henderson told the audience, "and I really believe that's because of my faith".
"I'm going to be aggressively taking a look at this for sure - the [cancer] I have doesn't respond well to early treatment, so we haven't done
anything yet... but I'm going to be very aggressive in trying to arrest it."
